Paul Dathe founded Evōk Polymers with a singular vision: delivering the highest quality injection molded components at the lowest possible price through proprietary technology, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional customer service. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, product design, and injection molding problem-solving, Paul brings unparalleled expertise to every project. Before establishing EVOK, he led new product development at Caliber Products, an industry leader in powersports, where he designed and launched 13 new products, grew sales by 540%, and expanded the customer base from 25 to 144 with perfect retention. Previously, as senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, Paul managed a $40 million product line of ultra-clean liquid delivery systems for semiconductor and flat panel applications. His career began at Rollerblade as a design engineer, followed by senior roles at General Mills and Boston Scientific. Paul holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University. He is an active member of the Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.

Shawn Monitor has been a vital creative force on some of the most advanced injection molding and seating projects of the last two decades. His exceptional ability to graphically and physically communicate evolving design concepts makes him invaluable to the EVOK team. Shawn excels at building complex mechanical and visual prototypes in various materials, creating photorealistic renderings in Otoy OctaneRender®, and developing layouts, diagrams, and logos with Adobe Creative Cloud. He has been instrumental in finding mechanical molded part solutions that can be prototyped and confirmed prior to tooling, significantly reducing project risk. His involvement in pre-molding design reviews has saved clients substantial time and money on large-scale projects. Shawn holds several patents and has conducted research on diverse projects ranging from consumer lawn mower products to biotech and medical facilities. His meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving approach ensure that every part feature is optimized for both function and manufacturability. Outside of work, Shawn practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene.
