He holds four U.S. utility patents and is a Six Sigma black belt. Prior to founding Evok, Paul led new product development for Caliber Products, where he grew sales 540% and achieved 100% client retention while launching 13 new products. His expertise spans 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, mold flow studies, and prototype fabrication. Paul's vision for Evok centers on delivering the highest quality components at the lowest possible price through proprietary technology and deep industry knowledge. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University with emphasis in rapid prototyping and is a member of Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.

Shawn is an ever-curious creative force who has been instrumental in some of the most advanced design and prototyping projects over the past two decades. He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts through complex mechanical and visual prototypes built in a variety of materials. Shawn's expertise in photorealistic rendering using Otoy OctaneRender and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud enables him to present concepts with stunning clarity. His particular strength lies in finding mechanical solutions for molded parts that can be prototyped and validated prior to tooling investment. Shawn's involvement in pre-production design reviews has significantly reduced risk in numerous large-scale projects. He holds several patents and has conducted research across diverse industries ranging from consumer products to biotech and medical facilities. Shawn's meticulous attention to detail and ability to build functional prototypes ensures design features are thoroughly tested before manufacturing commitment. Outside work, he practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene.
