He also served as senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, managing a $40 million product line for semiconductor applications. Paul's career began at Rollerblade and includes senior roles at General Mills and Boston Scientific. He holds four U.S. utility patents, earned Six Sigma black belt certification, and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University with emphasis in rapid prototyping and 3D modeling.

He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts through complex mechanical and visual prototypes built in various materials. His expertise in photorealistic rendering using Otoy OctaneRender® and layout development with Adobe Creative Cloud helps clients visualize final products before tooling investment. Shawn has been instrumental in finding mechanical molded part solutions that can be confirmed through prototyping prior to production, significantly reducing project risk. His involvement in pre-molding design reviews has saved clients substantial time and cost on large-scale projects. Shawn holds several patents and has conducted research spanning consumer lawn equipment to biotech and medical facilities.
