Founder
Paul Dathe founded Evōk Polymers with a passion for helping people with manufacturing of plastic parts, driven by the goal of supplying the highest quality injection molded components at the lowest possible price. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, product design, and sales, Paul specializes in solving complex problems in injection molding custom plastic components. He holds four U.S. utility patents and is a Six Sigma black belt. Prior to founding Evōk, Paul led new product development for Caliber Products, growing sales 540% and expanding customers from 25 to 144 with 100% retention. He previously served as senior mechanical engineer for Entegris, managing a $40 million product line, and began his career at Rollerblade as a design and prototype engineer. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University with emphasis in rapid prototyping and 3D computer modeling, and is a member of Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.
Industrial Designer
Jason is a seasoned industrial designer with a passion for creating innovative and functional products. His design approach is deeply influenced by his innate empathy and keen observation of human behavior, nurtured within his multi-generational household where he lives with his wife, two sons, and mother. This unique perspective allows Jason to create designs that truly resonate with end users and solve real-world problems. Beyond his professional work, Jason finds fulfillment in exploring his diverse interests including cooking, gaming, and relaxation. His ability to balance creative innovation with practical functionality makes him an invaluable member of the Evōk design team, where he brings fresh perspectives to custom parts design challenges.

Sr. Industrial Designer
Shawn brings curiosity and creative force to the most advanced design projects, serving as a vital contributor over two decades. He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts through complex mechanical and visual prototypes in various materials. Shawn creates photorealistic renderings using Otoy OctaneRender® and develops layouts, diagrams, and logos with Adobe Creative Cloud. His expertise in finding mechanical molded part solutions that can be prototyped and confirmed prior to tooling has been instrumental in reducing risk on large-scale projects. Shawn's involvement in pre-molding design reviews has prevented costly mistakes and streamlined production processes. He holds several patents and has conducted research on projects ranging from consumer lawn mower products to biotech and medical facilities. Outside work, Shawn practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene.

Daniel's expertise in system and process design, coupled with his ability to cultivate strategic partnerships, sets him apart in the injection molding industry.
