Founder
Paul Dathe founded Evok Polymers with a singular mission: to supply customers with the highest quality injection molded components at the lowest possible price. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, product design, and sales, Paul specializes in solving complex injection molding challenges. Before founding Evok, he led new product development for Caliber Products, an industry leader in powersports, where he achieved remarkable results—growing sales 540% and expanding the customer base from 25 to 144 with 100% client retention. He designed, developed, and launched 13 new products while managing all aspects of tooling, functional assessments, 3D modeling, prototype fabrication, and testing qualifications. Paul previously served as senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, responsible for a $40 million product line of ultra-clean liquid delivery systems. He holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University. Paul is a member of Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.
Industrial Designer
Jason is a seasoned industrial designer with a passion for creating innovative and functional products that improve people's lives. His design approach is deeply influenced by his empathetic nature, nurtured within a multi-generational household where he lives with his wife, two sons, and mother. This unique family dynamic sharpens his ability to observe human behavior and translate those insights into thoughtful product designs. At Evok, Jason brings creativity and user-centered thinking to every project, ensuring that form and function work harmoniously. His keen eye for detail and understanding of how people interact with products make him an invaluable asset to the design team. Outside of work, Jason enjoys indulging his passions for cooking, gaming, and unwinding with his family, finding inspiration in the everyday moments that fuel his creative process.

Sr. Industrial Designer
Shawn Monitor is an ever-curious creative force who has contributed to some of the most advanced seating projects over the last two decades. He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts and part features by building complex mechanical and visual prototypes in a variety of materials. Shawn creates photorealistic renderings for clients using Otoy OctaneRender® and develops layouts, diagrams, and logos with Adobe Creative Cloud. His expertise has been instrumental in finding mechanical molded part solutions that can be prototyped and confirmed prior to tooling, significantly reducing risk in large-scale projects. Shawn's involvement in pre-molding design reviews has saved countless hours and resources for Evok's clients. He holds several patents and has conducted research on diverse projects ranging from consumer lawn mower products to biotech and medical facilities. Outside of work, Shawn practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene, drawing inspiration from art and culture.
