Previously, as senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, he managed a $40 million product line of ultra-clean liquid delivery systems for semiconductor and flat panel applications. Paul holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University. Shawn builds sophisticated mechanical and visual prototypes using diverse materials, creates photorealistic renderings with Otoy OctaneRender®, and develops professional layouts, diagrams, and logos using Adobe Creative Cloud. His involvement in pre-molding design reviews has proven invaluable, significantly reducing project risks and finding innovative molded part solutions that can be prototyped and validated before tooling commitment. With several patents to his name and extensive research experience ranging from consumer lawn equipment to biotech and medical facilities, Shawn's contributions ensure EVOK's designs are both manufacturable and market-ready. Outside of work, he pursues his passion for photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene.
