Founder
Paul Dathe founded Evōk Polymers with a clear mission: deliver the highest quality injection molded components at the lowest possible price through proprietary technology, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional customer service. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, product design, and injection molding problem-solving, Paul brings unmatched expertise to every project. Before founding Evōk, he led new product development at Caliber Products, launching 13 products while growing sales 540% and expanding from 25 to 144 customers with 100% retention. He previously served as senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, managing a $40 million product line for semiconductor applications. Paul holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University. He's a member of Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.
Industrial Designer
Jason is a seasoned industrial designer passionate about creating innovative and functional products. His design approach is deeply influenced by human behavior observation, nurtured through life in a multi-generational household with his wife, two sons, and mother. This unique perspective enhances his innate empathy, allowing him to design products that truly resonate with end users. Jason's keen understanding of how people interact with objects translates into thoughtful, user-centered designs that balance aesthetics with practicality. His expertise spans the entire product development process, from initial concept sketches to final production-ready designs. Outside of his professional work, Jason enjoys pursuing his passions for cooking and gaming, activities that continue to fuel his creative thinking and problem-solving abilities in the design studio.

Sr. Industrial Designer
Shawn brings curiosity and creativity to every project, having been a vital force on advanced seating and mechanical design projects for over two decades. His exceptional ability to graphically and physically communicate evolving design concepts sets him apart. Shawn excels at building complex mechanical and visual prototypes in various materials, creating photorealistic renderings with Otoy OctaneRender®, and developing layouts and diagrams with Adobe Creative Cloud. His expertise in finding molded part solutions that can be prototyped and confirmed before tooling has proven invaluable, reducing risk in large-scale projects through comprehensive pre-molding design reviews. Shawn holds several patents and has conducted research across diverse industries, from consumer lawn products to biotech and medical facilities.
