Shawn brings ever-curious creativity and two decades of experience to some of the most advanced seating and component projects in the industry. He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts through complex mechanical and visual prototypes in various materials. His technical prowess spans photorealistic rendering in Otoy OctaneRender®, layout and logo development in Adobe Creative Cloud, and finding mechanical molded part solutions that can be prototyped and confirmed before tooling. Shawn's involvement in pre-molding design reviews has significantly reduced risk in recent large-scale projects. He holds several patents and has conducted research across diverse applications from consumer lawn equipment to biotech and medical facilities. Outside EVOK, Shawn practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene, bringing that same creative energy to every project.
