What is the composition of PEEK?
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer composed of repeating ether and ketone molecular groups. It belongs to the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family and features an aromatic backbone that provides exceptional thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength. PEEK's molecular structure allows it to maintain properties at continuous operating temperatures up to 480°F (250°C).
