Founder
Paul Dathe founded Evōk Polymers with a singular vision: to deliver the highest quality injection molded components at the lowest possible price through proprietary technology, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional customer service. With over 25 years of experience in engineering, product design, and sales, Paul specializes in solving complex injection molding challenges. Prior to founding Evok, he led new product development at Caliber Products, an industry leader in powersports, where he designed and launched 13 new products, grew sales by 540%, and expanded the customer base from 25 to 144 with 100% retention. His previous roles include senior mechanical engineer at Entegris, managing a $40 million product line for semiconductor applications, and design positions at Rollerblade, General Mills, and Boston Scientific. Paul holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University. He is a member of the Allied Executives Business Leadership Peer group and the Institute of Packaging Professionals.
Industrial Designer
Jason is a seasoned industrial designer with a passion for creating innovative and functional products that enhance user experience. His design philosophy is deeply influenced by his life within a multi-generational household, where he lives with his wife, two sons, and mother. This unique environment nurtures his innate empathy and keen observation of human behavior, which directly informs his thoughtful design approach. Jason's ability to understand diverse user needs allows him to create products that are both practical and emotionally resonant. Beyond his professional work, Jason finds balance and inspiration through his personal interests in cooking, gaming, and relaxation. These activities fuel his creativity and provide fresh perspectives that he brings to every design challenge, ensuring his work remains innovative and human-centered.

Sr. Industrial Designer
Shawn is an exceptionally curious and creative force who has been instrumental in some of the most advanced seating and product design projects over the past two decades. He excels at graphically and physically communicating evolving design concepts and intricate part features by building complex mechanical and visual prototypes using a variety of materials. His expertise extends to creating photorealistic renderings in Otoy OctaneRender® and developing layouts, diagrams, and logos with Adobe Creative Cloud. Shawn has been pivotal in discovering mechanical molded part solutions that can be thoroughly prototyped and validated before committing to tooling, significantly reducing project risk through his involvement in pre-molding design reviews. His diverse portfolio includes research and development on projects ranging from consumer lawn mower products to biotech and medical facilities, and he holds several patents. Outside of work, Shawn practices photography and frequently enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene, drawing inspiration from art and culture.
