Paul's technical prowess encompasses tooling, functional assessments, proof of concepts, 3D modeling, prototype fabrication, testing qualifications, tolerance analysis, and mold flow studies. He holds four U.S. utility patents, is a Six Sigma black belt, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design from Bemidji State University with emphasis in rapid prototyping and 3D computer modeling.

Shawn excels at building complex mechanical and visual prototypes using diverse materials, bringing ideas to life in tangible, testable forms. His technical mastery extends to creating photorealistic renderings in Otoy OctaneRender® and developing layouts, diagrams, and logos with Adobe Creative Cloud. Shawn has been instrumental in discovering molded part solutions that can be prototyped and validated before tooling investment, significantly reducing project risk through thorough pre-molding design reviews. He holds several patents and has conducted research across a wide spectrum of projects, from consumer lawn equipment to biotech and medical facilities. Outside work, Shawn practices photography and enjoys the vibrant Twin Cities live music scene.
