Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between blow molding and injection molding?

Injection molding injects molten plastic into a closed mold cavity under high pressure to create solid parts with precise details and complex geometries. Blow molding inflates molten plastic like a balloon inside a mold to create hollow parts like bottles and containers. Injection molding offers superior dimensional accuracy and detail, while blow molding excels at producing hollow vessels efficiently. At Evok, we specialize in injection molding for parts requiring tight tolerances and intricate features.
